Willow joins her colleagues for a drink after work, even if she doesn’t really fancy it, it’s the done thing and a way to celebrate deals of the day. She easily sinks one or two before trundling on home. When Winifred needs to work an extra hour or two at home she will happily settle down with her laptop and a glass of something special, the drink helps her relax so she can carry on working late into the evening whilst still having some ‘me’ time.

Whilst the general belief is it’s better to drink alcohol slow and steady in small quantities, rather than binge drinking all your units in one night, lets face it, most of the time it’s not just the one glass! It’s all too easy to have a second drink when we’re drinking at home. The first one always goes down far too easily, encouraging us to have more.
